Fleet Assist now provides network management services to 26 of the UK's leading leasing & contract hire companies with a combined fleet size exceeding 650,000 vehicles and an annual maintenance spend exceeding £250m.
At the core of the Fleet Assist proposition is its network of vehicle service agents. This is a national network of aftersales providers through which a common set of preferential terms and conditions have been implemented. To further reduce administration costs a common electronic trading platform is utilised across the network. This brings significant efficiencies to both leasing companies and service agents, whilst providing a more stable and cost effective platform through which suppliers can communicate with fleets. The net result is improved purchasing terms for the leasing companies and increased business volumes with lower administration costs for the service agents.
Having introduced structured network management and process control to this market sector, Fleet Assist now enables both their suppliers and customers to enjoy measurable and tangible benefits. Although the SMR network remains the principal service, Fleet Assist now provide a number of additional support services to leasing companies. Procurement services are also provided to the garage network, enabling our garage partners to take advantage of their bulk purchasing power.
Work Booking
Fleet Assist provides an in-house service booking facility to a number of its customers, enabling them to direct work to member garages within the Fleet Assist network.
The whole philosophy behind this service is to put the vehicle into the most appropriate and cost effective garage for the work required. Fleet Assist has designed its own system to deliver highly effective work booking facilities to the network.
In addition Fleet Assist also work very closely with other third party service booking providers retained by some of our customers for the purpose of work booking.
Consultancy
Fleet Assist has now worked on a number of consultancy projects from the complex to the less complex. Capability and case studies now range from full blown fleet reviews for multiple thousand vehicle fleets right through to garage audits and data analysis.
