Mike Smith
Mike has over 25 years experience in the vehicle finance and fleet management industry. Up until March 2003 he was Vice President of Shell Auto Finance, responsible for all operational activities including vehicle procurement, maintenance management and disposal. Prior to joining Shell, Mike was with HSBC Vehicle Finance for 10 years where he was responsible for procurement and supplier management.
In his spare time, Mike is likely to be found strapped into the seat of a rally car or hurtling around a kart circuit at high speed.
Simon English
Simon has worked either in, or as a supplier to the fleet industry since 1988. He has held various board positions and most recently was until 2002 the director responsible for Kwik-Fit Fleet in the UK. This business encompassed the service delivery to fleets for all Kwik-Fit fast-fit products plus independent repairers Stop �n Steer and Hometune in addition to Silvershield Windscreens. Prior to his time with Kwik-Fit Simon was Managing Director of Jessups Vehicle Contracts and before that he ran AT&T Capital Automotive Services. Simon retains a non-executive directorship for a venture capital backed business within the fleet industry.
An enthusiastic family man, when time allows he indulges his passion for golf and rugby.
Stuart Silby
Network Development Manager - South
Stuart joined Fleet Assist in April 2009 from DHL Logistics. Stuart had been known to us for 8 years as the Maintenance Manager at Marshall Leasing in Huntingdon. Stuart lives very locally to the office, manages the southern half of the country.
Mark Davies
Network Development Manager - North
Mark joined us in August 2010 from the Pendragon Group where he held the role of Service Manager for one of the largest Ford sites in the group. Mark has extensive experience in the Motor Industry, having held numerous senior roles in both franchised dealers and vehicle manufacturers.
Joanna Cooper
National Account Manager
Joanna joined us in August 2005 from Kwik Fit were she held the role of National Sales Manager. Jo's primary role is to provide support and assistance to our growing customer base and work with them to help improve penetration into the Fleet Assist network. She lives in Sunbury on Thames and has responsibility for all of our customers nationally.
Karen Ewer
National Account Manager
Karen joined us in January 2011 from Leaseplan where she worked in customer services and purchasing. Prior to this Karen worked as a marketing manager within Ford.
Charlene Turner
Administrative Assistant
Charlene joined us in January 2008 to provide administrative support and to manage our extensive database.
Mark Bruce
Technical Manager
Mark joined us in August 2011 from Robinsons of Kimbolton where he held the role of Service Manager. Mark is a qualified vehicle technician and, in addition to his time managing workshops, he has also worked as a maintenance control manager for vehicle leasing companies.
