Ogilvie Fleet agrees multi-year contract renewal for Fleet Assist’s managed garage services

Ogilvie Fleet has announced a multi-year renewal of its SMR contract with Fleet Assist across its fleet of circa 25,000 cars and LCVs.

It utilises Fleet Assist’s managed network of over 6,500 service points for its service mechanical and MOT jobs and its ever-growing mobile service network which now exceeds 600 units.

Ogilvie’s selection was also driven by its complimentary access to Fleet Assist’s Atlas systems which provide a unique view of garage capabilities such as number of ramps and types of vehicles they can work on, to ensure jobs are directed into the correct location first time.

This focus, coupled with the added assurance the network is regularly audited and measured via Fleet Assist’s balanced business scorecard system enables Ogilvie to continually raise its customer service standards whilst controlling its maintenance spend.

As part of the contract Fleet Assist will also be periodically benchmarking and reporting Ogilvie’s technical authorisation performance and provide detailed feedback on any suggested improvements.

“We are well known for keeping our customers’ drivers happy and we know we can rely on Fleet Assist’s managed network when they take their car in for a service or MOT. It enables us to find the best garage to manage individual driver’s requirements, especially with larger vans and EVs,” said Ogilvie’s head of operations Gavin Clisby.

“Fleet Assist is constantly future proofing customer needs with its mobile servicing and Premier Van garage network which we use to cope with LCVs up to and above 3.5 tonnes,” he added.

“Ogilvie’s proposition as a full mobility provider means it offers vehicles on short and long-term contract hire as well as salary sacrifice, and our garage network can cope with its different SMR requirements. Our benchmark process adds confidence to Ogilvie’s operations team that they are using a professional garage network,” said Garry Winckley, Fleet Assist’s business development director.

“Fleet Assist managed garage network continues to set the industry benchmark backed up by a dedicated supplier management team and market-leading management systems that have no competing interests,” added Vincent St Claire, Fleet Assist’s managing director.
