Vincent St Claire Managing Director

Vincent has over 25 years experience in the automotive sector, particularly in the leasing, fleet management, daily rental and insurance sectors. His most recent appointments have been as Managing Director of Arval one of the UK's largest leasing and fleet management companies, Operations Director at easyCar and Commercial Director of Rental Services at the AA.

To date he has been responsible for bringing innovation to the industry and has a strong track of operational, supplier management and developing long term customer partnerships.

Jonathon Smith

Jonathon Smith Chief Information Officer

Graduating from Aberystwyth University with a degree in International Politics and a specialism in the political use of the internet, Jonathon joined Fleet Assist in 2010 to manage our systems.

Following two years maintaining, patching and developing our previous systems, Jonathon has over the last 5 years been the architect of our acclaimed proprietary Atlas system onto which our business applications have now been migrated.

Outside work he spends much of his time coaching trampolining and gymnastics, as well as still attempting to do it himself.

Chris Crow

Chris Crow Head of Network Services

A qualified accountant and economist, Chris has been in the industry for over 20 years with roles including General Manager at Lex Vehicle Leasing, Head of Commercial Operations at Lloyds TSB Autolease, Risk Director at Hitachi Capital and Chief Editor at CAP Automotive.

Outside of work Chris volunteers for two local charities, tinkers with his classic car and keeps fit by exercising his beloved dog.

Mark Davies

Mark Davies Network Development Manager - North

Mark joined Fleet Assist in August 2010 from the Pendragon Group where he held the role of Service Manager for one of the largest Ford sites in the group.

With over 20 years experience in the automotive / fleet industry Mark initially started as a mechanic. He has more recently held a held a number of senior management positions in franchised dealerships and with vehicle manufacturers responsible for service maintenance and repair of vehicles.

Mark is responsible for the Network in the northern territory.

Stuart Silby

Stuart Silby Network Development Manager - South

Stuart joined Fleet Assist in April 2009 from DHL Logistics and prior to this held a senior maintenance management role for a number of years at one of the UK's leading contract hire companies.

Stuart has over 30 years experience working in the automotive / fleet industry. He started as an apprentice mechanic and then progressively became more involved with the procurement, processing and management of various aspects of service maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.

Stuart lives very locally to the office and is responsible for the network in the southern territory.

Mark Bruce

Mark Bruce Technical Services Manager

Mark joined Fleet Assist in August 2011 from Robinsons of Kimbolton where he held the role of Service Manager.

Mark is a qualified vehicle technician and, in addition to his time managing workshops, he has also worked as a maintenance control manager for vehicle leasing companies.

A big motorsport fan, when not supporting his two sons at their local football team, mark can be found watching Formula 1 on TV, dreaming of being the next Sebastian Vettel.

Ben Blomley

Ben Blomley Technical Services Controller

Ben joined Fleet Assist in March 2016 from Bells Motor Group in Northampton where he was a fully Qualified Master Technician for Kia and Mitsubishi.

Alongside his Technician role Ben also helped out with Workshop Control/Management.

Ben is a keen Football and Golf fan, having recently hung up his footballs boots Ben has turned his hand to Golf and has recently become a member of his local golf club. He is working hard to bring his handicap down and get that allusive hole in one.

Joanna Cooper

Joanna Cooper Business Development Manager

Joanna joined Fleet Assist in August 2005 as Business Development Manager. She has responsibility for 3 major customers ensuring they maximise the cost saving & service delivery benefits available from the Fleet Assist network.

Joanna has 22 years' industry experience and previously worked at a strategic account level within Kwik-Fit Fleet.

Karen Ewer

Karen Ewer Business Development Manager

Karen joined Fleet Assist in January 2011 from Leaseplan where she worked in Customer Services and Purchasing. Prior to this Karen worked as a Marketing Manager within Ford where she was responsible for a team of 5 offering support to the Rental network. She has over 15 years’ experience in Customer Service which is invaluable to her role as Business Development Manager.

Karen’s primary role is to provide support and assistance to our customers, working with them to improve penetration into the Fleet Assist network and advising on efficiencies and cost savings.

As a mother of two boys, Karen spends most of her spare time with her family.

Cheryl Barr

Cheryl Barr Business Development Manager

Cheryl joined Fleet Assist in 2015. Cheryl has worked in the Automotive Industry for over 18 years and has a wealth of Account Management experience.

She has held previous positions with Honda and Arval, her passion for achieving excellent customer service makes her an invaluable addition to the Business Development team.

Cheryl is responsible for working with our customers to increase network penetration and maximise cost savings.

In her spare time Cheryl enjoys training and competing her dressage horse.

Brigitte Deacon

Brigitte Deacon ACMA Head of Finance

Brigitte joined Fleet Assist in March 2014 to look after the Finance and HR functions for the company.

As a Chartered Management Accountant, Brigitte has gained extensive finance experience working for various blue chip companies and SMEs including DHL, Fujifilm, Jardine Matheson and P&O.

Brigitte has a masters degree in Marketing & Management and a BA in Economic Information Management. Brigitte is also a huge tennis fan, you may regularly find her amongst the audience in Wimbledon or the ATP world tour cheering for her favourite players.

Lauren Ottolangui

Lauren Ottolangui Financial Administrator

Lauren joined Fleet Assist in June 2013 where her primary role was to provide admin support for Charlene. She has now transferred into the finance team where she is working towards her AAT Accounting qualification.

Prior to joining us, Lauren worked in retail but wanted to change into a more office based role.

In Laurens spare time, when she is not looking after her son, she loves shopping, shopping & more shopping! Aside from a bit of shopping, she enjoys catching up with friends and, being a huge Chelsea fan, watching football.

Carly Peacock

Carly Peacock LIMI Service Booking Manager

Carly joined Fleet Assist in September 2012 and prior to this has worked in the call centre industry mainly for the insurance sector for over 8 years. She has worked her way up from a service advisor and held a number of senior management roles heading up and developing call centres.

She is responsible for all aspects of the service booking contact centre. Given her wealth of experience she is ensuring that we have on going initiatives in place to continually improve our customer experience.

Carly is rather a perfectionist and likes to spend her spare time taking pride in her and her partner's new home.

Paula Jones

Paula Jones Senior Service Booking Co-ordinator

Paula joined Fleet Assist in October 2015 as part of the Service Booking Team.

Prior to joining Fleet Assist Paula worked in the call centre industry for about 7 years.

In her spare time she likes reading and spending time with her family.

Systems, Business Intelligence, and Administration

Charlene Turner

Charlene Turner Administration Manager

Charlene joined Fleet Assist in 2008 and manages the data entry on our various systems, runs reports for customers and garages to assist our field staff. In addition, Charlene is responsible for all of our general administration.

Prior to joining Fleet Assist, Charlene had completed an administration training course and foundation course for veterinary nursing.

As an avid Top Gear fan she is also the office female Stig when it comes to driving! The rest of Charlene's time is spent with her children and family as well as cooking and reading with friends.

Stephen Polhill

Stephen Polhill Rental Administration Manager

Stephen joined Fleet Assist in January 2011 not long after completing his A Levels.

After working in the Service Booking team for 4 years, Stephen has moved to a role where he can utilise his experience and extensive knowledge in the technical and vehicle industry to assist the rental and network management teams.

Stephen is a pure petrolhead and when not in the office he can be found driving around the country, cleaning and polishing cars or under the bonnet of his classic Morris Minor.

Dovile Vilkaite

Dovile Vilkaite Administrator

Dove joined the Service Booking team at Fleet Assist in August 2012. Prior to joining Fleet Assist Dove was a Home Care Assistant so service booking was a completely new challenge, then in 2014 she moved to the Admin team.

Originally from Lithuania, Dove moved to the UK in 2006 and has enjoyed proving to herself and the rest of the team that with hard work and the right attitude anything is possible.

Coming from a traditional farming background, Dove spends her spare time looking after her vegetable allotment.

Rob Amos

Rob Amos Data Analyst

Rob joined Fleet Assist in April 2016. He joined us from the National Accident Helpline to expand our reporting and analytics capabilities.

Rob is a keen football fan and a lifelong fan of Manchester United. In the evenings he can be found playing squash.

Alex Champkin

Alex Champkin Junior Web Developer

Alex joined Fleet Assist in August 2016. He joined us as an apprentice after completing his A Levels.

In his spare time he enjoys reading, listening to music and playing guitar.

Mike Smith

Mike Smith Consultant

Mike has over 30 years experience in the vehicle finance and fleet management industry.

Up until March 2003 he was Vice President of Shell Auto Finance, responsible for all operational activities including vehicle procurement, maintenance management and disposal.

Prior to joining Shell, Mike was with HSBC Vehicle Finance for 10 years where he was responsible for procurement and supplier management.

In his spare time, Mike is likely to be found strapped into the seat of a rally car or hurtling around a kart circuit at high speed.

Simon English

Simon English Consultant

Simon has worked either in, or as a supplier to the fleet industry since 1988.

He has held various board positions and was until 2002 the director responsible for Kwik-Fit Fleet in the UK.

Prior to his time with Kwik-Fit, Simon was Managing Director of Jessups Vehicle Contracts and before that he ran AT&T Capital Automotive Services. Simon retains a non-executive directorship for a venture capital backed business within the fleet industry.

An enthusiastic family man, when time allows he indulges his passion for golf and rugby.
