Radius Vehicle Solutions GB has partnered with Fleet Assist to provide its customers with a range of service maintenance and repair [SMR] services in a multi-year agreement.
Fleet Assist’s 5,200-strong garage and 500-plus mobile network will augment the businesses workshop and mobile infrastructure to Radius vehicle operators which they will access through its award-winning platform Synergy, linked to Fleet Assist’s booking tool, Service Booking Lite.
These services will feed into Radius’ dedicated maintenance support department underpinned by additional support from Fleet Assist’s Huntingdon and field-based team which will provide network and technical authorisations.
Radius Vehicle Solutions GB run a UK-wide fleet of 4,500 vehicles delivering a range of products which includes leasing, rental and fleet management. Fleet Assist’s Paybill service will streamline further the administrative process by consolidating all SMR spend into one invoice, thus allowing front-line Radius teams to concentrate on service delivery and preventative maintenance activities.
With full access to Fleet Assist’s Atlas Analytics business intelligence, this will enable granular level detail to support effective decision making not only in understanding in-life costs but also support strategic business decisions on future manufacturer and derivative selection policies.
Gareth Jones managing director of Radius Vehicle Solutions GB commented: “We selected Fleet Assist for a number of reasons not least their network infrastructure, IT systems and integration capabilities.”
“Key to the decision also was their industry knowledge and experience. This gave us the reassurance that we will benefit from a long-term partnership with our teams working together, to deliver a best-in-class maintenance management experience for our customers and partners.”
“We look forward to providing Radius with a range of SMR services,” said Garry Winckley, business development director.
“Our Atlas Analytics will provide Radius with detailed insight into SMR spend and potential financial and operational savings available through fine tuning its work direction policy.”
